he often gives us traffic shots along 101 at this time of the morning if you tend to watch us and here he is again showing us live look near that exit. as you can see, northbound and southbound 101 moving at the limit if you are heading towards santa clara 101 traffic moving fine this morning. let's go to our maps and check some of the road sensors. westbound four looks good off the antioch bridge and continuing towards "a" street and look at that all green on the sensors all the way towards 242 and concord. westbound 580 coming through the altamont pass no big delays there either a few brake lights in the eastbound direction but commute looks good towards the dublin interchange. this is one of our slower drive times. it's because of that overnight roadwork still in lanes. it should all wrap up shortly after 5:00 or right around there. it's northbound this morning between 23rd and broadway and that's why that drive time 23 minutes or so between san leandro and the macarthur maze. if you are heading towards the dublin interchange, all those headlights as you can see starting to get crow

from nasa they sent us this image. look at all the smoke coming from the fire tracking more northerly direction all that smoke sliding up into lake tahoe and that fire continues to burning and looks like it will continue until we really get things under control maybe with some winter rain. so with that in mind, looks like today we are seeing cooler air moving onshore and we are seeing some fog outside, some thick fog, and dense enough visibilities down to a quarter of a mile in the santa rosa area this morning. the temperatures are running in the 50s and also the 60s. it's a bit damp out toward the coastline too. we are looking at drizzle toward the beaches so be careful on the roadways, maybe a little slick and you have that thick fog outside. but by the afternoon a lot of sunshine coming our way, about 88 degrees in concord, 68 degrees and mostly sunny into san francisco and should be about 81 degrees in san jose. all right. let's check the roads with elizabeth. >>> thank you, lawrence. some of our traffic cameras ar

this map showing us heavy traffic westbound leaving "a" street. that's going to stay slow towards pittsburg. great news if you are a bart rider. all bart riders commuters in general breathing a sigh of relief. no bart strike so they are operating on full service. no delays for muni, caltrain on the altamont commuter express. we had that earlier accident westbound 580 near 680. traffic as a result very slow for that commute leaving the altamont pass. drive times are up. and as we move on to the live shot now with the 580/680 interchange, the accident involving a big rig still out there in the clearing stages west 580 near 680. it's off to the right side. in fact we're hearing from the chp that a tow truck is on scene so hopefully they will clear it up momentarily. bay bridge commute leaving oakland into the city it's been unusually slow for a monday morning perhaps commuters even just the threat of a bart strike was enough for them to hop into the car again. bart is operating this morning. there are delays now at the bay bridge toll plaza extending
